Last stop... Los Angeles

After Fiji I will be stopping off in Los Angeles for 4 days to round off my trip round the world.

I haven't really planned to do anything here yet and will take the 4 days I am here as it comes!

Now onto Fiji...

I will then be moving onto Fiji where I will be doing a 10 day tour as part of my 12 days here on the group of islands. I will be taking in parts of the main island of Viti Levu, before moving onto the more remote Beachcomber Island, and then finishing on the Mantaray Islands. I will be starting in Nadi, below.

I will go into more detail about the actual tour later on, but to summarise I will be combining culture, activities and doing absolutely nothing if you know what I mean!

Beachcomber Island is sometimes known the party island...

...and as you can see Beachcomber is a rather small island! The Mantaray Islands offers a similar experience with many more activities and stunning beaches, see below. 

New Zealand

Next up is New Zealand, where I will be starting in Auckland after a flight in from Cairns. I will be taking in places such as Christchurch and Wellington along the way, and other more scenic places such as Milford Sound and the Franz Josef Glacier. The image below is of the Auckland skyline.

I will also be using a bus pass round New Zealand which means I will be making things up as I go along again! Unlike Australia, I will be both starting and finishing in Auckland as I effectively do a loop round the country.

Next up... Australia

After Thailand I will be moving onto Australia for 6 weeks, first stop Sydney. From here I will use a bus pass to work my way up the East Coast to Cairns, taking in places such as Fraser Island and Brisbane along the way!

I will be spending my first two nights in Base Backpackers, before making up the next bit of my journey up as a I go along!

                                                                             

I am using a lonely planet to help guide me, as well as meeting lots of new people in both the hostels and buses I will be using along the way!

First stop... Thailand

My first stop will be in Thailand, where I am doing a group tour taking in parts of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khao Sok National Park, Koh Samui and Koh Tao. Lets just say that below is the first place I will probably end up when I arrive in my first stop Bangkok, better known as the tourist area of Khao San Road. It is here where my first hotel is located before I start my tour.

According to Google maps this where I have to meet for my tour of Thailand...

...luckily that was only the back door!

I will post more about the actual tour later on when I have more information about it.
